Seattle Concrete Driveway Contractor for New Driveways
HTS Concrete & Construction is a concrete driveway contractor pouring new driveways for homes in Seattle and across the Eastside—Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, North Bend, and Snoqualmie. Pattern, color, and border details chosen to match your home's architecture, laid out with clean joints and consistent finish across the whole pour. We handle the excavation, grading, base, forming, and pour, so your driveway is built as one job by one crew.
New Concrete Driveways, From Dirt to Finish
A driveway is the first thing people see and one of the hardest-working surfaces on your property. Getting it right starts below the surface: removing unsuitable soil, establishing grades so water drains away from the house and garage, and building a compacted base before any concrete is placed.
Because we're an excavation contractor as well as a concrete contractor, that groundwork is done by the same crew that forms and pours the slab. Whether it's the driveway for a new custom home or a new parking pad or turnaround, every driveway we build is a new pour on a properly prepared base.
- New concrete driveways for new and existing homes
- Driveway extensions, parking pads, and turnarounds
- Sloped and hillside driveways
- Broom finish, exposed aggregate, and stamped accents
- Integrated walkways, steps, and retaining walls

Sloped Lots and Hillside Driveways
Many Eastside and Snoqualmie Valley homes sit on slopes, and that changes how a driveway needs to be built. Grades, traction, and drainage all matter more, and a hillside drive often needs retaining walls or stepped walls alongside it to hold the slope.
We plan the driveway, walls, and drainage together so they work as one system. A broom finish is a common choice on slopes for traction, and we'll talk through finish options with your site in mind.

Seattle Driveways: Slopes, Drainage & Permits
Many Seattle lots are steep, narrow or both, so a new driveway starts with the grade. We plan the excavation, base, slope and drainage together, adding trench drains or retaining walls where the site calls for them, so water moves away from the house and garage. On custom homes we work alongside your builder and architect and coordinate around the permits your project requires. New driveways, walkways and stamped concrete patios and borders are all custom concrete built for structural integrity, with open communication from the owners from site visit to final walk-through.

Finish Options
Broom-finished concrete is clean, durable, and practical. Exposed aggregate shows the stone in the mix for added texture, and colored concrete can match the architecture of the home. A full stamped driveway or a stamped concrete border or accent can frame the drive or tie it into a patio or entry. Control joints are laid out deliberately so the driveway looks intentional and manages the cracking all concrete can experience.
A new driveway usually connects to other work, too: walkways to the front door, steps up to an entry, a parking pad beside the garage, or a turnaround on a long rural drive in the Snoqualmie Valley. Planning those pieces together keeps grades, joints, and finishes consistent from the street to the house.
You'll work directly with the owners—Sean and Heather Tolbert and partner Jeremy Henning, with over 40 years of combined concrete industry experience—from the first site visit through the final walk-through.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you handle the excavation and grading for a new driveway?
Yes. We're both an excavation and a concrete contractor, so the dig, grading, base, and pour are handled by the same crew—no separate site-prep company to coordinate.
How much does a concrete driveway cost?
Every driveway is quoted from a site visit, because size, slope, access, excavation needs, and finish all affect the price. Call (425) 269-4422 or request a quote.

Sean poured a new front walkway / porch as well as an extension to the garage parking pad. He was thorough, knowledgeable, professional and communicative. […] Because of the long, low style of the home and the flat roof, together with some leveling corrections that had to be made after removel of the old porch and walkway, it was tricky to make things appear visually level while retaining necessary slope for proper drainage. This goal was achieved beautifully. A storm came in unexpectedly after the project was poured and Sean quickly showed up after hours of his own volition with tenting to make sure the project was properly protected while it finished curing.
